BIMM Technologies was founded in 2011 by Shri R Boopathi, B.E, DIM. , an eminent Engineer from College of Engineering Guindy , Anna University with more than three decades of core industrial Functional expertise in Big corporate companies BEL, Eurotherm, LML, Avalon, EBD and Sandhar in ATE Test, R&D, Mass manufacturing, SMT, Process Automation, PLC Automation, Quality Control and Quality system. It was a challenging task for the company to identify a product line for its performance demonstration.
BIMM wanted a product line to help the common man with advanced Technologies to move him up. That is how the company has chosen Water level controller as a Business line which will be benefitted by most common man. With zero experience in the water level controller, BIMM has understood the common man requirements of having water at tap all the time with NO overflow anytime as well as the critical problems faced by the customers. So BIMM has put sufficient time and in depth experience, gained while working with big Industrial giants at Design & Development stage in choosing the right Technologies, new range of sensors, selection of best industrial Class PCB and Low cost Assembly Technique with cheaper inventory cost.
BIMM has launched its first product in 2011 with a single basic model. Over the period of 11 years, BIMM has developed more than 45 models as on date and Many more on the pipeline with latest technologies like IIOT, ML and AI. BIMM has adopted the wireless RF technology for pump control of single pump multi tank controllers, multi tank multi pump controllers, dual pump controller etc., giving complete automated pumping comfort to common man.
Having experienced in pump control, BIMM started working on Key critical issues faced by customers. The critical issues faced by customers are depletion of ground water and pump running dry. No cost effective technology was then available to optimally utilise the available ground water in the best possible way without dry run. The use of costly flow switches for dry run protection has pushed them to opt for unreliable metallic sensors which are failure prone. The other options left to customers are to increase the bore well depth coupled with high cost high capacity pumps to pull water from very deep which is expensive on bore well making and high capacity pumps.
BIMM has zoomed in to a new concept to give a Timer based pump controller coupled with overflow control which will increase the efficiency while pumping, thus saving energy as well as giving the full comfort of water management (water in OH tank ALL the time and NO overflow Anytime).
A lot of research was done with sufficient time to offer this product with deep study on the bore depth, volume of accumulated water in pipe with respect to water table, flow rate of pumps, capacity of overhead tank and the customer water consumption pattern. The product was further fine tuned to offer pump control with fixed ON and OFF time with overflow control, Fixed ON/ OFF time with early start during fast consumption hours, cutting short the recharge time, selectable ON/ OFF time and Field variable ON/ OFF time.
